This 3 ¾” platewind lite direct drive 1-1 reel is a raised pillar gear and pawl design that weighs 8.5 oz, and is generally good for 10 to 12.5 foot spey rods depending on the manufacturer. The reel comes with a 2-way check, and a single handle. The faceplate, cage, and spool are available in silver, black, or green and the handle colors are black, Ivorine/Ivory, or wood composite (handles are either straight or flared). The center metal finish color can be ordered in brass or nickel silver.
The reel pictured has the standard configuration: silver faceplate, cage, and spool with a black flared single handle and a brass center metal finish. Case included.
